This week, our third grade classes were thrilled to have veteran family members visit their classrooms to share their experiences of serving our country.

In return, our third graders will honor our deceased veterans by placing flags on graves at various cemeteries in Marshfield this weekend.

We all look forward to our Memorial Day Perfromance on Friday, May 26, as our GWS community honors our veterans.

Elementary Conferences will be held in on Wednesday, May 10, from 1:30-3:30PM.

1. Please click here to sign up for a conference.

2. A list of all teachers will be displayed.

3. Click on the name of the teacher with whom you wish to conference

4. Select a time and enter the required information (child and parent’s name, phone number, and email).

5. PTCFast.com will send you an email confirmation. The email will give you all the information you need to change your appointment and will send you a reminder of appointments

It is very important that students arrive to school on time. Proper rest and a nutritional breakfast have also proven beneficial. Please send a healthy snack to school with your child on test days.

Next week is teacher appreciation week! Let's show our GWS teachers some appreciation!

Mon: Coffee & pastries provided by the PTO

Tues: Bring a book new or used for the classroom library!

Weds: Send in a sweet midweek treat!

Thurs: Make a card, write a note, or draw a picture to give to their teacher!

Fri: Send in a flower to make a class bouquet for teachers to enjoy!

*Stop by GWS any day next week to add a note or art work to the sidewalk!

Field day is coming up soon!!! Many volunteers are needed for this event. Please know you need and up to date CORI on file to volunteer. Simply go to GWS during school hours with your license and fill out a CORI form!!

On a small Greek island, Sophie Shierdan (played by Meg Lembo) dreams of the perfect wedding- one that includes her father giving her away at the altar. The only problem? She doesn’t know who he is! Her mother Donna (played by Carly Connor)- the lead singer of her 70s pop group Donna and the Dynamos, refuses to tell Sophie who he is. So Sophie takes matters into her own hands and does some research. Finally, she finds three possible fathers- Sam (Bennet Regan), Harry( Joe Mamet) , and Bill (Alex Robinson). Thinking that she’ll be able to tell who her father is the moment she sees him, she invites all three to her wedding. But when they arrive, she discovers that it will be much harder than she thought!
