Board Drops Levy 11.19 Cents
Will Not Use Levy Override This School Year
During last night's meeting the Board approved the 2023-24 budget, voting unanimously to drop the district's levy by 11.19 cents. The levy will drop from $1.2100 to $1.0981.This marks the fifth year in a row the Board has voted to lower the district's levy. In 2018-19 the levy was $1.2510. Aldrich & Reeder Named National Blue Ribbon Schools
This past week the U.S. Department of Education recognized 353 public and private schools as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2023. The recognition is based on a school's overall academic performance or progress in closing achievement gaps among student groups on assessments.
We are proud to announce two of the four schools recognized in Nebraska are Millard schools! Congratulations to Aldrich and Reeder Elementary Schools for this outstanding honor. The National Blue Ribbon Schools program validates and celebrates high standards and exemplary achievement.
Millard Public Schools Honored by The Kim Foundation
The Kim Foundation has honored Millard Public Schools as their School Partner of the Year. MPS Social Workers accepted the award on behalf of the district. Millard was honored for the ongoing work to raise suicide awareness and provide mental health supports.
