Year 7 - Food and Nutrition
The poem below was written by Year 7 students Alfie and Joprince, students were asked to ‘sell 5 a day’ in a lesson about nutrition and eating 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day.
Have a pear or be eaten by a bear
Have a carrot or be killed by a parrot
Have a pea or you will be stung by a bee
Heave a peach or your blood will be sucked by a leech
Have a grape or be eaten by a snake
Eat your 5 a day or you will be forced to run away
Be healthy or you will be forced to be stealthy
Eat your fruit and veg, or you will get stuck in a thorny hedge!
