DCSD Funding Challenges - Exercise your right to Vote

VOTES DUE November 7th – ELECTION DAY

Polls will be open at 7 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m. including all Ballot Drop Box Locations and Voter Service and Polling Centers. Registered voters in Douglas County should have received your mail in ballot. If you haven't, please visit douglasvotes.com

We have recently shared information with you regarding DCSD funding issues and 5A & 5B. As you know, Rock Canyon High School would greatly benefit from these initiatives and help keep our community and school strong. We encourage you to exercise your right to vote.

Trivia Bowl Requests - Gift Card Request

We are asking for your help with The 9th Annual Rock Canyon Trivia Bowl, which is run through Seminar classes and will begin on November 9th. The school championship consists of four grade-level champions and will be broadcast on RCTV on Thursday, December 14th. A link for you to watch it live remotely will be available on the RCHS website.

We hope you can help us fill the Championship Cup with 30 gift cards of $10 each for the winning team. They can be from any restaurant, Starbucks, Target, etc. If you can donate

Please drop off gift cards marked “Trivia Bowl” at security or have your student drop them off with Karen Brankin in the main office by December 8th. THANK YOU very much for your help as we embark on this hotly contested competition and fun RCHS tradition!

Registration for Winter Sports will be open on Tuesday, October 24th.

Winter Sports include: Boys and Girls Basketball, Girls Swim & Dive, and Wrestling. All registrants must have a current physical on file (the physical must be dated after November 16, 2022) and pay the Participation Fee in MSB to be cleared for tryouts on November 13th.

Registration will be found on rchsjags.com under the Athletic Registration tab.
