Expectations
Tardiness
Let's help students build a habit of good attendance! Late arrivals to school are being tracked. Students who are tardy to school 3 times in a 9 week period will be issued after school detention. Please help us by getting your students to school on time. They should be in their classrooms by 7:50 a.m. Students who are late because the bus arrives late will not be counted as tardy. Thank you for your help with this!
For attendance notes, please be sure to email notes directly to LMSattendance@lcsedu.net or marinojs@lcsedu.net. Responding to the automated attendance messages will not get your messages to the attendance staff, resulting in unexcused absences. All notes must be received either the day that the student returns, or the following day (by the end of the school day). Thank you!
Calendar Change
On May 2, 2023, the School Board approved an update to this year’s school calendar. The last day of school for students (except Bass Elementary) is now Friday, May 26. This moves the last day from June 1.
Chromebooks
On May 22nd and 23rd, the ITRT and Technician will begin Chromebook collection through English classes. They will be collecting all Chromebooks and chargers. Students can keep their Chromebook case if they would like and use it for their device next school year. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Case. Her email is farmeraw@lcsedu.net.
Baseball Fundraiser
The LMS band is set to perform Thursday 6/1 before the game!

Tips From the Nurse
If your student has any medications in the clinic, they will need to be picked up on the last day of school or they will be disposed of per LCS policy. No medications will be kept in the clinic over the Summer. Any medication orders will need to be renewed for the next school year, this includes action plans for any health conditions such as asthma or allergies (see LCS website Parent forms) Thank you for helping me help your student stay healthy while at school. Have a great Summer and I look forward to seeing your student in August.
