School Choice is the program authorized by the Arkansas General Assembly in The Public School Choice Act of 2015, which allows parents to apply for their child’s admission to participating school districts other than the one in which they reside. The Mountainburg Public School District will accept eligible students from other school districts under the School Choice program during the 2024-25 school year.

Testing will begin the first day we return to school this week.

Mansfield came to town on Friday, January 19. The Sr High Lady Dragons and the Mansfield Lady Tigers came into the game undefeated. It was a hard fought game, but Mansfield got the W.

The Sr High Dragons fought all the way against an undefeated Mansfield Tigers game. The Dragons left with the W with a score of 62-57!

The Dragon Wrestling Team had an impressive showing at the Berryville Tournament:

• Dash Hamilton: 5th Place
  
• Bobby Dean: 2-2
• Tarin Preston: 2-2

If you are currently coaching little league basketball for Mountainburg, and for those interested in coaching little league softball or baseball, this training is required.

In order to accommodate all of those currently coaching and those wanting to coach, we will be doing the training on two different occasions. You will only have to attend one.

• Wednesday January 24th @ 5pm
• Sunday January 28th @ 2pm

These will be held in the Mountainburg School District Boardroom at the Administration building.

The Mountainburg Board of Education meets once a month unless a special meeting is needed. A study session will be held at 5:15 and the business session will be at 6:00 PM. Meetings are held downstairs in the Mountainburg Administration Building.
