Good evening Spartans,

I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for an amazing week at the Home of Champions. We made it to the last week of the semester. This week our students will be taking their final exams. Our schedule is as follows:

Monday Period 1 & 3

Tuesday Period 5 & 7

Wednesday Period 2 & 4

Thursday Period 6 & 8

Our finals schedule allows for students to be able to take no more than two final exams per day with a release time of 2:07pm. This will allow students additional time to study for their exams. On Friday we will conclude the semester with a minimum day, releasing students at 1:47pm.

As the semester comes to a close, I would like to recognize all of the accomplishments of our students and staff, and most importantly, thank them for al of their hard work. We have all earned a much deserved three week long winter holiday break. Students return to school on Tuesday January 10th, 2023. I hope that all of you have a wonderful holiday break and get an opportunity to spend some quality time with friends and family.

Spartan Families! Do you need parent to parent support? Do you feel you have good advice to share to others? We invite you to attend the Parent Support Group meeting taking place Thursday January 12th from 5-6:00pm.

As parents we will be sharing this platform to exchange information, support one another, bring awareness and connection to better support ourselves, our children/families, and our community. This group is intended to offer and exchange support, information, and resources in regards to our children's education, wellbeing, safety, development, and health. It will be an outlet where parents can feel safe, heard, and informed. It will not be an outlet to discuss views about race, religion, politics, controversial topics, and/or gossip. Discrimination, vulgar, or rude comments will not be tolerated.

Spartan Students we invite you to join Chula Vista High School's After School Programs! All programs are available for FREE! You can also stop by and have some fun at the Vault located in the Youth Center. The Vault has pool, air hockey, foosball, PS4, Switch, arcade games and more!!!!! **EVERYTHING IS FREE!!!!!!!**

Our morning hours will be from 7:15-8:15 AM (students will need to enter through Youth Center entrance at 465 L Street).

Our afternoon hours will be from 3:39-5:30 PM every day. We are also open during 7th/8th period for those students who are unscheduled.
