October: Wes Preckwinkle

Wes always has a smile on his face and a good word for those around him. It could have been super easy to become negative after his injury, but he has been positive and upbeat about it. He has also started a podcast with Mr. Shafer that highlights school activities and gives a fun, positive image of our school.

November: Cade Wellman

Cade has really grown a lot this year and stepped up as a leader in the classroom. I am lucky enough to have him 3 times a day, but he is constantly assisting me around the classroom and coming in outside of class time to help, he is on top of all his projects and even ahead of his peers, while producing high quality work. On top of his helpfulness and dedication to his work, he also is just an all around good person.

Congratulations to Kaylee Cowhick for being named CACC Student of the Month for Fire Science!

This week our Sophomores and Juniors had the opportunity to hear about the programs CACC has to offer. Our Sophomores got to explore CACC as well meet with some local businesses.

Jostens will be here to deliver class rings on Monday, December 12th during advisory in the cafeteria! If you have any questions about your child's class ring, please contact Jostens.

Congratulations to the Scholastic Bowl team on winning the Sangamo Conference Thursday night! The team beat Riverton 390-100, beat Athens 340-110, and beat Pleasant Plains 280-270. Overall, Tyler Hulett answered 35 toss-ups correctly. Carter Clair, Landon Hagerman, Liam Kiszely, Joe Pointer, and Corren Watson each answered one.

Attention all high school students!! Want to request a schedule change for 2nd semester? If so, all requests are due at NOON on Wednesday, December 21st. Need a schedule change request form….they are outside Student Services on the bookcase. Got questions? Email Mrs. Euler

The HS will dismiss for semester exams on Tuesday and Wednesday at 2:20. We have done this every year since we moved off of the block. On Tuesday, students that ride the bus go to the Dome and are supervised by a staff member until the buses arrive at 3:10.
