Welcome, Sidewinder Family, to our online newsletter for the months of May and June!
We hope you enjoy seeing what we have been up to at Twentynine Palms Elementary and what fun activities we have planned for the remainder of the school year!
Our amazing Sidewinders also raised over $10,000 for this year's Color Run! Wow!! Thanks so much to Mrs. Holbrook and her students for organizing this event, to the many staff members, PTO members and members of the Single Marines Program who volunteered their time on the day of the event. We would also like to thank our Sidewinders and their families for participating and supporting this event! It was so much fun!
It has been the season for field trips at TPES! Students across grade levels were able to visit Joshua Tree National Park, The Living Desert, the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center and Indian Canyons Nature Preserve, to name a few! We are so proud of our Sidewinders and how well they represented our school-wide expectations of Being Respectful, Being Responsible, and Showing Self-Control!
This week is Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week and our PTO and 6th Grade Kindness Club did a fabulous job in showing the love to all of us here at TPES. Thank you so much!
