January 23rd-January 27th
A Note from the Principal
Greetings,
What a crazy week this has been with the weather. I know it is never easy when we have to close or release early on all of you. Please know that we have the children's safety at the forefront of our minds when the decisions are made. I thank you for your patience and flexibility this past week and always.
The children have been enjoying One School, One Book and their projects are displayed in the building. The final project will be sent home for students to participate. We also wrapped up our Pet Drive. THANK YOU for helping out and contributing to this initiative. We will be able to donate a TON of items to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter as well as Lucky Puppy Rescue.
UPK Registration will be held on February 22nd in the Elementary School from 8:30-1:30. We are excited to share that we will be transitioning to a full day program, running 9:00-2:00. Kindergarten Registration opens up on our website this Saturday, January 14th. If you have a child who will be five on or before December 1, 2023, they are eligible to begin kindergarten with us.
Finally, Kindergarten registration is open. If you have a child who will turn five on or before December 1st, you can enroll them for kindergarten on our website: www.scsd.org. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call and we can assist in this process.
Thank you for all you do to support our school community!
Respectfully,
Rebecca Toleman

The Cold Weather
The cold weather is upon us. We take the children out following the weather guidance from NYS. Please make sure they have a jacket to wear out at recess as it has been cold. If your child is in need of a winter jacket, please let me know. Thank you for your support with this matter.
