* REMINDERS AND NOTES FOR THE START OF THE SCHOOL YEAR

* ALDI'S BUS STOP IN NEW CASTLE

'BEGINNING AND END' OF THE SCHOOL DAY

- Our traffic patterns and drop off zones will remain the same as last year for drop-off and pick-up at the beginning and end of the school day

ENTRANCE AT THE JR/SR HIGH SCHOOL (AFTER 8:00AM)

- There will be one significant adjustment to the entry doors at the Jr/Sr high school. All students and guests must enter door #1 AFTER 8:00am every day.

Students will NOT be able to come in door #2 after 8:00am.

'LATE START WEDNESDAY'S'

- Beginning August 16, 'Wednesday school days' will begin at 8:30am in both of our buildings. This means that school bus routes will run 30 minutes later on Wednesday mornings.

ATHLETIC SCHEDULES

- All BRV athletic schedules can be found at www.eventlink.com or on our school's athletic website -- www.brvathletics.com

Due to parent requests, we will be reinstating the Aldi's parking lot bus stop in New Castle this school year for students who live in New Castle and anyone who finds it convenient.

M, T, Th, and F - The Aldi's bus will pick students up at approximately 7:30am.

Wednesday's - Morning pick-up will occur at 8:00am for 'Late Start Wednesday's'

After-school dropoff will also occur at the Aldi's parking lot.

If you know of a family in New Castle (or south Henry County) who this might benefit in getting their child(ren) to BRV throughout the week, please share this information with them.

After much deliberation, the decision has been made to continue to partner with the staff at Mt. Summit Christian Church for Latchkey services for the 2023-24 school year.

If interested in this service, information can be picked up in the BRV elementary front office or at the church. Students participating in this program will be transported to the Mt. Summit Christian Church after school by bus.
