West Point El. Parent Update
Week of January 29, 2024
Dear West Point Families,
We loved visiting with you this past week at parent conferences. We also appreciate your support of the PTA Book Fair and Breakfast with Buddies. We would like to thank our PTA, teachers, and all of you for a fun and successful week.
Here are three important things to know for the coming week.
- Student Goals: Our students have set reading and math goals for 3rd term and have set goals with you during parent conferences. Please help them be successful by making sure they are at school each day, establishing a set time each day to read for 20 minutes and do homework, and supporting them in what other way they need.
- Lost and Found: This week is the last week to check our Lost and Found before we send the items to a charitable organization. Please give it another look over if your student is missing some winter clothing.
- Yearbooks are now $18.00 and can be purchased through your myDSD account. March 31 is the last day to order yearbooks online and be guaranteed a book. After that date, yearbooks will be sold in the office on a first come, first served basis depending on whether or not we have any surplus books.
Sincerely,
Marjorie Conrad and Michelle Yoho
Principal and Assistant Principal, West Point Elementary
