Resources for students to work on at home
2nd-6th Grade students have access to IXL to work on Math, Reading, and Science
Parent and Student Reminders:
Check your child’s folder and bag each night for homework and information.
If attending sporting events, all elementary students must have a parent or guardian present. Students cannot play inside the fences, by the concession stand, or in or around the bathrooms at football games.
Make sure you stay in your vehicle at drop-off and pick-up. Move car seats to the passenger side of the car so we can help your child out of the car without getting into the street.
For the safety of our students and staff, we will not allow visitors at the school during school hours except for specific family engagement times, and the information will be sent out by the teacher or administration.
Tips for Homework
Questions to ask for comprehension:
- Where does this story take place?
- What are the main events in the story (beginning, middle, and end)?
- Who are the main characters in the story?
- Why do you think the author wrote this book?
Students should have a place in the house to complete homework that is quiet and away from distractions. Check your child's homework and sign their agenda or folder daily.
