Dear IG Families:
We had so much fun this week, despite some smokey days. Everyone got their Bruster's ice cream treat this week, which was one of the highlights. Some classes got to walk on Monday before the air quality became a concern. Everyone else had their ice cream delivered - check out the pictures below.
Our lost and found has grown quite a bit. I hope you will stop in and look for anything you are missing before we donate the remaining items at the end of the year.
The last day of school (June 21) is scheduled to be our annual Fun Day. It's like a field day, only better! Students will play some outdoor games, visit a petting zoo, dance with the DJ, and have the opportunity "touch a truck." Thank you to Mrs. Hopsicker, Mrs. Phillips, and our PTA for coordinating all the details. If you would like to join your child on Fun Day, please be in touch with your child's teacher to coordinate times. We would love to have you!
Finally, you will see some pictures below of second graders tie dying t-shirts. These were a gift to our second graders from our PTA. They are going to be ready for everyone to wear them on Monday on their trip to Durand Eastman.
