It is so hard to believe that we are in our final week of school. This year has flown by! This time of year is such a bittersweet time. It's a time of celebration with the close of another school year and promotion for our students, but it's a time where I get incredibly emotional as we send our 5th grade students on to 6th grade.

We are so incredibly proud of our 5th graders and wish them all the best next year. We will celebrate our 5th grade promotion this Wednesday at 10:00 am on the blacktop behind the school. Please feel free to bring lawn chairs for the event.

That same day, we will celebrate our kindergarten students with an ice cream social under the giant oak tree on the side of the building at 2:00 pm. As stated on the RSVP form, we can welcome only 2 guests per kindergarten student. Thank you for your understanding.

We are asking families to park across the street at Hepzibah Baptist Church. East Fallowfield Township Police will be there to help direct traffic. If you are interested in signing your child out at the conclusion of their event, you can do so in the main office.

Our last day of school will be June 8th and it is a half-day of school, 12:30 dismissal. As a reminder, there will be no lunch served this day.

Attention East Fallowfield Families!

Our students will be coming home on Tuesday with the district summer reading book, James and the Giant Peach. A letter with more information and a reading calendar will be accompanying the book.

Last Thursday evening, East Fallowfield's gymnasium turned into a movie theater for a very special showing of Matilda, the book we read as a school community in the month of May. Families enjoyed free entry into the movie, free popcorn and drinks! Thank you to Mrs. DiSands, Mrs. Mullen and to our PTO for making this a successful event. We appreciate you! Thank you to all of our families who came out to enjoy this Title I schoolwide event!

Congratulations to 5th grader, Dalton Griffy and 4th grader Arnold Guadarrama-Salome for serving as Principals for the Day last week. Both students turned earned over 1,000 PBIS Dojo points to be principal for the day. They did an excellent job and even had the opportunity to help our kindergarten students on their fun day. Keep soaring!

Two Thursdays ago, East Fallowfield celebrated Field Day with a beautiful day of outdoor fun. We would like to thank our P.E. teacher, Mrs. Roberts for all of her hard work in organizing this event. The children had such a fun time with the activities that were planned. We'd' also like to thank our PTO for their assistance and the delicious soft pretzel snack! Thank you to our high school volunteers for donating their time to run our events, and a special thank you to all of the families that came out to support this day! We appreciate you!
