It is time for us to travel with the Levi's to visit the people of South Sudan!

We continue to make known the needs in South Sudan, while trusting God for our daily bread as a family. He has been our faithful Jehovah Jireh, seeing us through each day! Jon, too, is trusting God day to day, as his funds were depleted traveling there, but as he said, his needs are small. Just this week, some funds came in, that we can wire it to him, so he will have some money while on the ground & toward his permanent residency.


Lord willing, we will travel to South Sudan on APRIL 7th!! We've asked the Lord to order our steps and we just want to be where He wants us to be. We do sense that this is the time for us to go for more reasons than we can even see, so we wait on HIm to do what we cannot do... knowing we are safe in His care... we cannot go out of His will on this... He is the source of all we need. (See below)


In addition to raising funds for needs on the ground in Borongole, we are praying about raising monthly support in order to continue to work & share about the needs of the people in South Sudan. With a trip around the corner, we covet your prayers for God’s provision & the ordering of our steps!

Brick production / FARMHOUSE Construction

$1000 for site prep

$45,000 for construction of living quarters on the farmland as it is 5 miles from the village. This will allow those working on the farm to oversee the work there & watch over the crops.

AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT

$3000 for needed tools, supplies, seed, etc. & to build storage for these going into the wet season (March)

$3000 for Drip Irrigation System to be set up ahead of the dry season (Oct.) so they can plant year round

Operation Nehemiah Missions International is a primarily indigenous work helping to rebuild the family & the church in South Sudan from the ashes of war, both spiritually & physically, through preaching the gospel, discipleship, & promoting self-sustainability through Christian entrepreneurship.


Just as the year ended, God overwhelming provided through some generous donations of His people the funds for both the Flour Grinding Mill AND an Ambulance!!! This outpouring speaks to us & the people of Borongole that God is with them, & that He will continue to pour out His blessing even as some try to instill fear in the people. He is Emmanuel = God with us.
