Lori Gensch has nominated Jim Lent for this month’s Staff Recognition Highlight.

Mr. Lent retired from the custodial team in 2018. He loved the school environment and the students, and decide to re-join the Huskie Pack the same day of retirement! He currently is one of our valued recess monitors at Hemlock Elementary and K.C Ling Elementary.

“Mr. Lent is a dedicated staff member and friend. The students and staff have come to rely on him and truly care about him. Students have recently made cards and pictures for him to show how much they care,” shared Hemlock & K.C. Ling Elementary Principal Lori Gensch.

Mr. Lent enjoys his cottage on Long Lake near Hale, Michigan. He has one daughter, Shawn, and was married to his beloved wife, Kay, for 39 years, until she lost the battle with cancer.

Thank you, Mr. Lent, for all your hard work and dedication to our littlest Huskies! We are so grateful to have you on our staff.

On May 16th @ 6:00 pm, You are invited to attend the Hemlock & K.C. Ling Spring Celebration. We will be showcasing the musical abilities of our students using Instruments and our voices! This concert will be taking place at the Hemlock High School Gymnasium, music will start at 6:00 and doors will open at 5:30. Student drop-off and pick-up information will be sent out shortly!
