Free & Reduced Lunch Application
This year breakfast and lunch are free for all students however we encourage families who are eligible, to complete the free/reduced lunch application. We use this information to provide fee waivers and reductions for AP exams, SAT & ACT tests, PSAT, College Applications, Student Activities fees, Bus fees, etc.
Advanced Placement (AP)
All students taking AP classes are required to take the AP exam offered in May. AP exam fees are due to the Main Office by the end of October. We collect the exam fees in the fall because we must submit our exam order at the start of November. Each Exam costs $97. If your student is eligible for free or reduced lunch the exam cost is $15. Students may submit cash, a check or money order made out to Maynard High School to the Main Office.
MEFA Pathway
In 2019 MHS began using MEFA Pathway to help students in grades 9-12 plan for their future college and career. Students begin in 9th grade Intro to Capstone and use it throughout high school to complete career and college research, set goals, and build a resume. This year the Class of 2023 students who are applying to college are using it to manage college applications. You can explore www.mefapathway.org with your student by having them log into their account.
