Morning Arrival Reminders
IMPORTANT: The upper parking lot between OMS and SHS is only for staff and SHS student parking. Vehicles in the upper lot need to have a parking tag in order to be in the lot. There has been issues in the morning with students being dropped off in the lot and staff are unable to park their cars. Please note, if a vehicle is parked in the upper parking lot without a parking tag, it will be towed.
For morning drop-off, we ask that you pull your car all the way to the second crosswalk (towards the parking lot exit). The morning entrance for students is at the second crosswalk (see below picture for student entrance). As the roads get icy in the winter, please drive carefully and be patient. Mr. Williams is in the parking lot at the first crosswalk helping direct traffic. Make sure to pull your car up past him all the way to the second crosswalk when dropping off your student. This allows for more cars to move into the OMS lot to drop off.
SHS Showcase for Grade 8 Students
Please see the below message from SHS Principal Miller:
Dear 8th Grade Students and Families,
Please join the SHS Administration, Department Directors and some of our student leaders on Monday, January 29, 2024 @ 6:30 pm in the Stoughton High School Auditorium for the 8th Grade SHS Showcase! This program is an introduction to all our 8th grade students and families of all SHS has to offer our students. You will hear all about our classes, requirements, opportunities, activities, clubs, sports, music, drama and much much more! In addition, you will receive important information about our course selection process which will begin for our incoming 9th grade students in February. We look forward to meeting you at the 8th Grade SHS Showcase on January 29th!
Sincerely,
Juliette Miller SHS Principal
OMS Winter Sports
It was a big night for Stoughton wrestling on Wednesday. The O'Donnell Middle School wrestling team had a meet with Easton Middle School in the SHS gym. It also was nice to see the members of the SHS wrestling team enthusiastically cheering on the middle schoolers during their meet! See the OMS wrestling team pictured below.
SPS Event Pass for Winter Events
The SPS Event Pass is required for OMS students who want to attend an event unaccompanied by an adult for specified SPS events. It is the same pass that was used for the SHS football games. If students already have a SPS Event Pass, they can use it for the winter. If students need a pass, they will need to turn in a permission slip in order to receive one.
An SPS Event Pass is needed if OMS students want to attend as a spectator for the following events:
SHS Winter Chorus and Band Concert
- OMS Winter Choral Concert
- OMS Winter Band Concert
- SHS Basketball Games
MLK Jr. Celebration in Stoughton
STOYAC Softball
