Good afternoon Cougar Families,

As we enter the last week of school, we want to thank you for your commitment and support in your scholar's learning. This year has been a year full of laughs, smiles, tears, and memories.

Scholars have also been advised that in order to participate in End of Year Activities, they MUST fulfill all academic and attendance responsibilities and be in good standing with behavior. Scholars not meeting expectations will not be allowed to participate.

SISD is changing systems over the summer from Tyler 360 to Skyward. Due to this, the schedules that were being worked on can be seen for next year. However, these are not final, nor will any schedule changes be accepted at this time.

Friday is an early release day. Scholars will be released at 12 pm. Please make sure scholars are picked up promptly.

We have various types of Summer School sessions going on next week. More information will be sent home with scholars to include dates and times. Transportation will be provided. Below are the bus routes for Summer School. Transportation will only be provided for the first week. Scholars needing to attend for LOC beyond the first week will not have transportation provided.

Attendance is of upmost importance to scholar success. If they are not in the classroom, they cannot learn. Please be advised that attendance at the middle school and high school levels is taken EVERY period throughout the day.

Below you will find information on attendance and expectations.

Any scholar that is pending LOC will NOT be allowed to participate in any dances or End of Year Activities. Scholars if you are pending LOC, make sure you are taking care of your hours. ALSO, if you continue to have absences, you continue to add hours that you need to make up.

Attention parents and scholars, at AMS ALL scholars eat free breakfast and lunch. We encourage all scholars to participate in our daily meal options!

In order for scholars to qualify for transportation, you must reside more than 2 miles away from the campus. Within the first three weeks of school, scholars will receive an ID they will scan for the bus. Below are the bus routes or you can visit the SISD Bus Routes search page.
