Bus routes are currently being altered as new students are added to routes. You can check for bus information in Skyward. We hope to have information for buses finalized by August 16th so check Skyward again Tuesday evening.
Transportation Update
Due to the national shortage of School Bus Drivers, please be aware that some bus routes may see prolonged ride times. If you know anyone interested in being a School Bus Driver, please have them apply on our website.
Please contact the Transportation Department at: (217) 586-4443 or transportation@ms.k12.il.us
When you have moved, or if you have a change to your child’s before/after school care. Some changes could take up to 48 hours to be processed, to allow time for a new stop to be created and the drivers to become familiar with the change.
Upon enrolling or registering your student, you should have completed the Transportation Registration Survey, that information goes directly to our office and routes will be updated to reflect within 48 hours.
All routes are reconfigured annually, just like classroom assignments, if your child rode last year, they are not automatically assigned to a bus. You MUST complete the survey form again this year to communicate their transportation needs. We also appreciate notice from those not utilizing bus service.
Here is a link to the form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfvVFIspqt-ZXv-_gNdFZj8nlcFvDlvsLe9OrNdPtGMyEmSaQ/viewform
Transportation will be able to confirm the bus #, pick-up and drop-off times and locations with you before school starts. It will also be in Skyward.
Any questions, please call transportation at: (217) 586-4443 or email our Director of Transportation, Ryan Burns at rburns@ms.k12.il.us
