We have an amazing staff at LPS! Do you know a LPS teacher or staff member that has really helped you, your student, or your family? Has a teacher been highly effective or motivating? Or maybe a staff member just went above and beyond and you want to give them a special shout out!

Our staff takes great pride in helping students and families achieve their highest potential. Take a few minutes and let our staff know how much you appreciate their work! We will share these notes with the staff and one staff member will be selected each month for special recognition!

Tech It Home Fees will be collected from all students in grades K-2. Due to the increasing cost of our insurance on student devices, Tech It Home Fees will be $25 for the 2023-2024 school year. All K-2 students will receive a device to go home this school year. Devices are not to go home until the fee is paid and we have cleared students to begin taking them home. This fee may be paid by cash, check or on My School Bucks.

If you have a child age 0-3 at home, please join us each month for Toddler Rock N' Read in our Media Center. This is a free family event where you and your child will participate in fun activities and receive a book to take home. We hope you will join us!

We are excited to offer dance club with Elevation Dance again this year. Here is the link to the landing page for parents to get more information/sign up. Also, see the flyer below.

If you plan for your student to use the bus this year, please fill out the 2023-2024 Student Transportation Form at the link below. This will help transportation plan for routes prior to the beginning of school. Please note that we will need to know the address for pick-up in the morning and the address for drop-off in the afternoon (especially if these are different from your home address). Thank you for your patience and understanding as we transition to our new online forms and data management service - FinalForms.

Earlier today (7/13/2023), we announced that it is time to begin the annual registration process for the 2023-2024 school year.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Use the email from FinalForms to register. CURRENT SDPC STUDENTS SHOULD NOT REGISTER AS A NEW STUDENT.

• You should have received an email from FinalForms like the one below sent to Darian Byrd regarding registering his SDPC Student.

• If you did not receive an email from FinalForms for your RETURNING SDPC student, please DO NOT register your student as a new student in FinalForms. Please Contact your child's school so they can assist you with gaining access to update your child's information.

Again, you should have received a confirmation email from FinalForms to begin registering your student(s). If you did not receive this email, please contact your child's school. Directory information is available here: School District of Pickens County Directory Information.

Please note that Liberty Primary starts school at 7:50 with doors opening to welcome students at 7:20. Students are considered tardy after 7:50. We will dismiss at 2:20 each day.
