Mook Memo November 21-25

We had a great pep assembly on Thursday to send off the football team to the state football semi-final game vs. La Grande. Members of the 1977 and 1989 football teams were at the assembly to show their support for the 2022 football team headed off to state. Representing the 1977 team was Randy Schild and Steve Wester. The 77 team made it all the way to the state championship game. Representing the 89 team was Travis Moncrief and Mike McKibbin. The 89 team made it to the semi-finals game. We are so thankful for the community support as we move on to the final game!

It was great to see so many Tillamook fans at the football game on Saturday. Tillamook filled the visitor section of the stands and they were full until the very end. Thanks to Bob Lee and the THS band for making the trip, standing in the cold, and bringing the energy! Thanks to Melanie and Scout Weber and the THS Cheerleaders! Everyone did a great job the entire game creating an awesome state playoff environment. Also, thanks to Spanish Teacher Adriana Cepeda for being the chaperone on the THS rooters bus. Go Cheesemakers!

State FFA Ag Sales was a great success! Our team placed FOURTH overall in the State out of 23 teams. A few highlights: Maddie Prince had the high telephone score and Peyton Rawe had the second highest prospecting score.

Last week the Tillamook ASB Officers began the Anti Bullying / Harassment Campaign at Tillamook High School. In the linked video the ASB Officers hope to bring an awareness about bullying and harassment and they want to let students know what to do if they are bullied or harassed. Thank you ASB for making this video!
