Superintendent Information
Dear Jaguar Families,
Last week, we had our first snow flakes of the year and it looks like winter will soon be upon us. With that in mind, weather/I-90 school delays, and at times, school closures will pop up from time to time.
Note that any changes in our school day or with bus routes will be communicated via our School Messenger system. Please make sure that we have your update to date contact information. If you need to change your contact information, please email Rachel Cummings, our school secretary, at cummingsr@easton.wednet.edu
Great District playoff win from our HS Girls Volleyball team on Tuesday 10.24.23. but unfortunately their season ended in a hard fought battle onThursday 10.26.23 with Entiat. The JH Girls Bball team ended their season with a win vs. Wilson Creek and ended up with a winning record on the season at 6-5. Easton Football also had a great effort at Clallam Bay but came on the short end but they definitely win the award to longest road trip of the year!. Hats off to our awesome Easton Coaches and Athletic Director, Kyle Hickman, that make the opportunities available for our Jags. So Proud!
Please join us at our Halloween Carnival set for Monday Oct 30 from 3:00-5:00 pm in the gym. All are welcome.
Proud to announce that do to the hard work of our staff, Easton School has received a $40,000 Outdoor Education Grant to help us provide activities and opportunities to get our students outside! The research is very clear that when students have time to be outside in nature, even for small chunks of time, they perform better academically and behaviorally.
Thank you for your support of Easton School and Go Jags!

Easton receives $40,000 Outdoor Education Grant!
As mentioned above, I am very happy and proud to announce that for the second year in a row, Easton School District has been awarded an Outdoor Education grant provided by the State of Washington to help increase our student's access and opportunities to outdoor activities.
With grant money, we will be purchasing different types of environmental testing equipment to collect data to be used by our science and outdoor education classes regarding the impact Interstate 90 has on Easton School and our students and staff. In addition, the staff will be developing new and exciting opportunities for the students of Easton to get outdoors. Stay tuned!
