Happy Fall! This school year has kicked off with boundless enthusiasm here at the Hartley Outdoor Education Center. We are thrilled to welcome students back to our vibrant campus for our overnight residential programs, thrilling day trips and team building activities.

Our team has been hard at work to create unforgettable experiences that foster personal growth, teamwork, self-awareness, and a deep connection to the outdoors. As we move further into the academic year, we are excited about the potential for growth and learning that lies ahead.

One of our key goals is to continue expanding our offering to better serve our partner schools. We are dedicated to enhancing our programs to provide even more enriching experiences for students of all ages.

Tune in 24/7 to enjoy the ever-changing spectacle of fall, right at your fingertips.

With over 300 acres of property and more than 12 outdoor activity locations, there is always a lot to be done. Join us for the day, December 16th from 9am till 2:00pm for a day of community spirit and outdoor upkeep. It’s an excellent opportunity for all of us to come together and ensure Hartley is looking its absolute best for our students and community.

Start the winter season with a day of building a stronger community and revitalizing your team throughout the winter. Specializing in Administration and Educator programming, spend the day with one of our highly skilled team-building facilitators as you navigate building trust, managing conflict, and understanding communication while having a unique shared experience. Our program is customized to each group's desired outcomes. Full and half-day programs are available. Facility use is available for groups seeking a unique and memorable meeting space.

In partnership with Carrollton Middle and Elementary School, Hartley hosted and put on our second annual 4-day long summer camp program. The morning session was dedicated to STEM activities such as Archery and Motion, Wetlands, and nature exploration. They then spent the rest of the day building community through leadership and team building. They ventured through the confidence course, participated in a photo scavenger hunt, and worked on a weekly long movie project. Campers signed up through their school and had very little interaction with the other campers prior to arrival. By the end of the week, campers built a sense of comradery and accomplishment all while having fun in the outdoors.
