Catholic Schools Week Kick-Off – 8:30am Virtual Prayer Service

Animal Appreciation

It is about to get WILD at DeSales! Today we invite students to dress in their favorite animal outfit – maybe you have cheetah print pants, a polar bear tee shirt, or can fashion your outfit to look like a cat! Let your inner animal shine today!

Tuesday, February 2nd

Traveling Tuesday

Let’s dream about taking a trip! Where would you go or where have you been? Today we invite students to dress down in clothing that tells a story about travel – will you be a tourist? Deck yourself out in Disney gear? Or go international and wear your beret and Eiffel Tower t-shirt? Or will you wear your favorite shirt from a place that you have been or would like to go?

The possibilities are endless!

Mass to Celebrate Catholic Schools Week – Virtual at 10:00am

Join us for Mass at 10:00am virtually! All students should wear regular school uniform but may accessorize for Hilarious Hat & Silly Sock Day (students will be asked to remove hats while we celebrate Mass)

Go ahead, make a statement today. Will you wear your favorite baseball cap or have you wanted to wear your Viking helmet- today is the do to do it! Don’t forget to wear your favorite silly socks!
The Home School Association will provide a special ice cream treat during lunch for all students.

Thursday, February 4th

Mismatch Day

Relax, today is an easy one – no need to even look in the mirror on your way out the door! Let’s see those patterns – all the patterns – all at once! Polka dots, stripes, plaid, silk, flannel – it all matches today!

Friday, February 5th

DeSales Pride- Decade Day

Today is the day to show off your class pride by wearing something to represent the following decade:

PreK & K, Grade 1 – Take us to The Future Grade 2 & 3 – The 1950’s Grade 4 & 5 - The 1960’s

Grade 6 - The 1990’s Grade 7- The 1970’s Grade 8- The 1980’s

Afternoon festivities: School Spirit Classroom Video @ 1:00pm

‘Are you Smarter than a DeSales Middle Schooler?’ Trivia Game - Faculty VS. Students @ 1:30pm via Zoom *the winner of this fun game, either faculty or students, will win a cozy, comfy pajama dress down day (date TBA).

School Wide Service Project

Imagine a World Without Hunger! Our week long service project will be a food drive to support the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry right here in Lockport. Students may bring in non-perishable food items all week. Our goal is 500 food items!
