Dear Lemoore Elementary Families,

The school year has moved rapidly. In fact, we only have 5 weeks left before summer vacation. The last day of school for the 22-23 school year is June 1st.

Students will begin state testing the second week of May and will continue through most of the month. It is very important that students are here everyday and on time.

We appreciate all who were able to attend our Open House in April. Thank you so much for the partnership during this school year. We have many end of the year events planned, including a Spring Band Concert, end of the year rally, and 6th grade BBQ. We will do our best to send home notices with students, post on our Facebook page and the website as events are scheduled.

Thank you all so much for your partnership, and as we wrap up this school year we want to continue to stay focused on our mission of learning for all.

We have several events set up for the end of the year:

State testing for grades 3rd - 6th will take place May 8th - 26th
May 18th - 5th grade Field Trip

May 24th - Band Concert
May 26th - Lion of Character Breakfast
May 31st- Staff vs. 6th grade Volleyball game

May 31st - 6th grade BBQ
June 1st - End of the Year Rally

The California Assessment of Student Progress and Performance (CAASPP) is given to 3rd - 6th grade students in math and English language arts and reading. 5th grade students will also be taking the California Science Test (CAST).

Attendance during the weeks of testing are very important. Please make sure students are at school, on-time every day.

Special ROAR bucks will be given daily for being in class on time for testing.

Yearbooks are currently on sale. All purchases have to be done in cash. Books will be distributed on May 31st. Yearbooks are $20.

Who Can Register for Kindergarten/Transitional Kindergarten?

• Children turning 5 years of age by September 1, 2023 are eligible to register for kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year.
• Children turning 5 years of age between September 2, 2023 and April 2, 2024 are eligible for Transitional Kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year.
