Invention Convention Kick-Off
Calling all inventors!!! This week, we kicked off our Invention Convention program with a school assembly led by one of our advisors, Mrs. Cote. Students learned how to go from idea to invention, and all of the amazing experiences participating in the Invention Convention brings. Look for Intent to Invent forms coming home today!
Winter Harvesting!
The Garden Club is not done yet! This week, they had the final harvest of the year. Students collected kale, beets, radishes, and parsley that will be included on the school menu after break!
Social & Emotional Learning
At the PBIS assembly Friday, students watched a short video that told the tale of a pencil, and how we can apply these precepts to our lives. Just like a pencil, the most important part of you is on the inside. You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make along the way. Leave your mark, and no matter what happens, continue to write! Students worked to break down each precept and how they can apply these rules at Center School.
Thank you DAR!
Saturday, December 16 marks the 250th Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party. Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Members from the Wadsworth Chapter donated books to the Center School Library to support learning about this iconic event.
