Plano Middle School Weekly Update

Here's a weekly update, providing some general information for the activities centered around Plano Middle School. If you or your student needs assistance or questions answered, do not hesitate to reach out to us! There is an easy way to get in contact with our Student Services Department from Schoology that will be linked at the end of this newsletter, along with a few other helpful links and tips!

Also, our district is providing FREE breakfast and lunch to ALL CHILDREN in the community 18 and under. Elementary children will receive FREE meals when they are in-person in the schools, regardless of their eligibility of free, reduced or full pay. All families are also eligible to pick up meals on Mondays and Thursdays between the hours of 8:30am-9:30am, 11:30am-12:30pm and 5pm-6pm, for all children in their household 18 and under!

November 11th marks Veteran's Day in America. Veteran's Day is for remembering, honoring, and celebrating all who have served our country in the Armed Forces. At Plano Middle School we would like to honor our veterans by creating a "Wall of Honor" with Veteran's names, pictures, branch of Military, and years of service. If you have a veteran in your family, please fill out this form (editable link) so we can recognize them!

Mr. Secor has been doing a great job teaching kids physical education and health! He is very enthusiastic about Disc Golf and has met with the Mayor and Parks and Recreation committee to build a Disc Golf course down at Foli Park. Tyrone is looking forward to learning everything there needs to know about Disc Golf and being very active with Mr. Secor.
