Congratulations CCHS on the AP Capstone for STEM
Congratulations! Central Cabarrus High School STEM was offered the prestigious opportunity to implement the AP Capstone™ program in the 2016-17 school year! "AP Capstone is an innovative diploma program that provides students with an opportunity to engage in rigorous scholarly practice of the core academic skills necessary for successful college completion." 4-H National Youth Science Day
October 7th was 4-H National Youth Science Day.
It is the world’s largest youth-led science experiment! Our STEM schools took part in this year's NYSD experiment, Motion Commotion, to learn about physics, speed and safety! Thank you 4H for a great experience! The Charlotte Observer was very impressed with this activity, read what they had to say about what they witnessed at CWES.

STEM Graduate Program
A Masters in Education program will begin on Catawba College’s campus in spring 2016. The focus of the program is STEM. They will be offering four licensure-area programs: Middle Grades Mathematics, Middle Grades Science, Mathematics (secondary), and Comprehensive Science (secondary).
