Fall Conference Scheduling Now Open

Fall Family Conferences will be held on October 12 from 5p - 8p and October 13 from 11:30a - 6:30p.

All District 123 families can now log into Skyward Family Access and pick their family conference time and date. Online conference scheduling will close on Oct 9th at 11:59pm.

Don't have a computer? No problem. You can still schedule your student's Family Conference through the Skyward App. To do this, use your smartphone to access the Appstore or Android Play Store and download the free Skyward Mobile Access App. Once downloaded, log in and schedule your Family's Conference.

Walking for Water - 7th Annual 6k

The 7th annual 6k "Walk for Water" was held this past Saturday, September 23rd. In conjunction with World Vision, D123 community members raised funds and awareness for clean water projects and education for the children of Africa. This year, 130 members joined the walk with over 40 staff members who volunteered to assist in the planning and execution of the walk.

OL Parks Wolfe Wildlife Field Study

OLHMS 7th graders dived deep into a field study on biotic & abiotic factors in ecosystems at the Oak Lawn Park District Wolfe Wildlife Park. Our curious students were eager to learn about organism survival & prosperity. Unfortunately, no rat snakes in sight!

Cougar Cash!

You might have heard your student talk about cougar cash and you might be wondering what it is? Students have been working hard these past few weeks making sure they are following their Cool Tools in order to earn Cougar cash to exchange for awesome prizes!

Bear Booth Grand Opening

This past Wednesday Hannum School buzzed with excitement as each class visited the Bear Booth for the first time this year. The Bear Booth is a store where students can buy 'merch' using their 'Bear Bucks'. Teachers hand out Bear Bucks to students for following the Bear Way: Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Safe.

Muffins with Misses

On the morning of September 13, 2023, the Sward PTA hosted Muiffins with Misses. Sward students enjoyed muffins and juice with their "Ms." guest. Each table had coloring sheets and conversation starters for all to enjoy in the fun. "Thank you to the Moffitt family and Bimbo Bakeries for donating the yummy muffins for our event.
