Corron Mission Statement
From the Principal
Corron families:
Happy 2024 to all of you! Our new year started out with a bang at Corron, with quite a snowstorm to welcome students back. It was a fun way for them to start their new year at school - snow always brings such a level of excitement and happiness at the elementary school level.
Our teachers started the new year with professional learning on Monday. Grade levels met to discuss upcoming student learning in our Wonders resource, plan for writing instruction as a building, and focus on ways to build a sense of belonging for all of our students at Corron. While it was a heavy day of learning, our teachers were fully engaged and ready to go.
Our goal for professional learning is always anchored in ensuring that we are reaching all of our students academically, socially and emotionally. Our families are an important part of this equation, and I want to thank all of you for everything you do to support your student(s) at home. Please never hesitate to reach out if you feel that your child is struggling in any of these areas and you would like to problem-solve with our Corron team.
Enjoy the three day weekend!
