We are excited to have you joining us next week for Valentine's celebrations and for conferences. If you haven't signed up yet we still have spots open for each teacher.

Next week our 5th and 6th graders will participate in a presentation regarding internet safety from Police Detective Justin Broxterman during their counselor time. We are excited for students to have this opportunity to learn more about this important topic.

Berryton PTO will be providing meals for staff during parent teacher conferences next week and their work day Monday 2/21. We are partnering with LaRocca’s, Glory Days, and Jimmy John’s. Having a meal ready during their break on those long days is a nice way to show we appreciate our amazing staff. If you’d like to donate you may send cash/checks to the main office addressed to BES PTO Meals. Additionally, you are welcome to donate via Venmo @berrytonpto or PayPal berrytonpto@gmail.com. We are going to kick off Read Across America Week with Kona Ice on February 28th. The truck will be here from 1-3 pm. Our teachers of students in grades P-3 recommend that parents send money just for the Kiddie size as that seems to be the just right size for our youngest learners. Additionally, Kona will donate 25% of their proceeds to Berryton.

Teachers will begin collecting money on Tuesday, February 22nd.

As an elementary principal I enjoy working collaboratively with staff members to support student learning. I am passionate about continuing to learn professionally, and building relationships with staff and students at Berryton Elementary. When I'm not serving at Berryton Elementary I am usually with my husband and two sons. We can be found at sporting events, cheering on Kansas State University, or just enjoying a movie at home.
