May 29 - NO SCHOOL

May 31 - 9th-11th grade Final Exams

June 1 - 9th-11th grade Final Exams

June 2 - 9th-11th grade Final Exams (1/2 Day Schedule)

11th Grade students that missed the initial testing dates for the MSTEP, SAT, and/or ACT Workkeys are required to test on the following dates:

• Tuesday, April 25 - SAT with Essay
• Wednesday, April 26 - MSTEP
• Thursday, April 27 - ACT Workkeys

Those students that are required to test have been contacted. In addition, students that will be making up the SAT and/or ACT must complete pre-administration activites prior to the make-up test date.

• 5/2/2023 (¾ through the semester 9th-11th) 75%
• 5/17/2023 SENIORS must be 100% Completed
• 6/3/2023 (End of 2nd Semester 9th-11th) 100%

LVS and students with online classes must complete the Two-Way Communications with teachers as required.

Congratulations to all of the VFW awatd winners. Specifically LHS student Ryan Blackwood for being recognized as the Voice of Democracy award winner, and LHS staff member Amy Messer for being recognized as LCS Teacher of the Year.

Congratulations to Sherri St. Clair and her Esports team for winning the MASSP Level-Up tournament! I have included an article from MASSP regarding their accomplishment.

LHS students are taking an active role in communicating the GREAT things that are happening in our district, from a student perspective. LHS Eagle Podcast has launched! Podcasts are student-driven, and the topics are student created! Get caught up on LCS!

LHS Eagle Talk

In 2018, Linden Community Schools developed and implemented a new Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan is designed to guide the district's direction to create an educational institution that creates a successful academic and non-academic environment for all stakeholders. Over the past few years, the LCS Strategic Plan has been a constant in providing direction for the success of the Linden Community School District.

As we move forward, your voice and feedback is important to the continued success of our district. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey to help us determine the impact our Strategic Plan is having on the Linden Community School District. Your feedback will help LCS continue to grow and strive to stay true to its Mission Statement, "to educate, nurture, and develop all learners to be self-directed and to strive for excellence with confidence and integrity by working cooperatively with students, staff, parents, and community."
