The following update is provided to keep you informed regarding the Anaheim Elementary School District:

Health, Food, and Cash Assistance

Orange County officially switched over to a new benefits enrollment portal called BenefitsCal on Monday, April 24. The new BenefitsCal website replaces the former portal, MyBenefitsCalWIN, for Orange County residents to apply for, view, and renew benefits for health coverage, food and cash assistance.

Households interested in applying for benefits assistance can create an account at www.BenefitsCal.com and submit an application or link their old MyBenefitsCalWIN case to their account. For more information about BenefitsCal, including new features and capabilities, click here.

Family Health Fair & Children’s Day - Saturday, May 6

The Office of Supervisor Doug Chaffee will be hosting a Family Health Fair & Children’s Day Event on Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The Edison School Baile Folklorico group will be performing at this event. All families are welcome to the event, no registration is required. Event Flyer

Mental Health Awareness Community Fair - Saturday, May 20

On Saturday, May 20th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm we will host a Mental Health Awareness Community Fair at Betsy Ross Elementary. There will be resources, opportunity drawings, music, games, snacks and a photo booth. Please join us!

We are offering a new series, Calm and Kind on Wednesdays at the School, Family and Community Department the month of May. This class focuses on the importance of Mental Health for families. Classes are offered in English and in Spanish - Join Us!
