Snapshot - Home Learning Edition
03.07.2020
Welcome to our CTS Snapshot - a weekly celebration update. We would like to continue to share the achievements of our students during this uncertain time. Each week we will include new ideas for student challenges to do at home, nominations of students who we are celebrating in each subject, and updates from the home learning team. If you have done a piece of work you are really proud of, or have completed one of our challenges and would like to share it in Snapshot next week, please email this to homelearning@corbytechnicalschool.org with the title of the email being 'Snapshot', including a short description of your work, and we will choose a selection to share.

This week we have asked all staff to share with us their favourite album and what it is they enjoy about it.
The Billy Elliot's soundtrack is a favourite of Miss Hurtado-Lopez. Billy Elliot is one of her favourite movies and brings together some of her passions: dancing, history and her love for Northern accents. With this album she discovered one of her favourite bands and solo artists: The Jam and the brilliant Paul Weller.
Mr Horne votes for this one. Proper instruments, proper tunes from a band that the likes of Coldplay were trying to emulate when they started out. Travis are still going. New album due out soon and, perhaps, the opportunity to catch them live in the not too distant future ...
