South School Friday Updates

Welcome Back to the South School for the 2023-2024 School Year. It was great to see all of our students and staff return this week starting with staff Tuesday, students in grades 1-5 on Wednesday and our newest Kindergarten Sharks on Thursday. Below you will find some pictures from the week, important information and links to help you navigate the upcoming school year. We will be using our Friday newsletter to give the South Community the most recent updates, highlights from school and new information throughout the year. We will be spotlighting some of our new staff over the next few weeks so you can start to get to know our newest South School faculty members.

Dear South School Families,

I would like to introduce myself to the South School community! My name is Meghan Cushing and I am an intern working with the school counselor, Mrs. Shute. I am currently completing my final year in the Mental Health Counseling/School Adjustment Counseling program at Bridgewater State University. I will be working with students in the classroom setting teaching lessons, as well as individually and in small groups. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my 11-year-old daughter and my dog, Rosie. I am passionate about working with children and I am excited to be working in the South School!
