Message from Mrs. Lethcoe
Dear Heritage Families,
It has been a great week at Heritage. I continue to be in awe of our Heritage community. Students are excited to be in school and the growth they have made this year is worth celebrating. Thank you to all of our parents for partnering with us to make this year a successful one for your children.
Your child(ren) should be coming home tired today. Today was a full day of fun for Field Day. It is always exciting to see students outside of the classroom walls and being able to see their personalities shine on Field Day. We were happy to see so many families join us throughout the day.
Next week we will have a short week ending with an early dismissal at 11:40 on Wednesday, May 24th.
Please continue to look for Heritage Happenings throughout the week on our facebook page.
Please know you can contact me by phone, 402-238-2095 or by email, klethcoe@bennps.org.

Notes from Your PTO:
A Message from Heritage PTO -
The new 23/24 PTO Board was voted in last week and one of the first things we want to do is gather feedback from those we serve, in the community and within the school.
22/23 was a year of BIG changes for Heritage, for both the school and the PTO. Our 23/24 Board fully appreciates that we have many opportunities ahead as we look toward next year and we want to make sure we’re using your feedback to guide our journey.
If you have not already done so, please take a moment and provide your insight at the link below.

Thank you for taking some time to provide your input. We are looking forward to the 23/24 school year!

Reminders and Current Happenings at Heritage
Absences from School
If your child is going to be late or gone from school, please contact the Heritage office at 402-238-2095 or email the secretary at covergaard@bennps.org.
As a reminder, per the student handbook, children who have vomited, had diarrhea, or a fever of 100 degrees or above during the night or prior to school need to remain at home, fever free for 24 hours. Most viruses are highly contagious for 24 hours after the vomiting/diarrhea has occurred.
We ask that if your child is having any of these symptoms, that they stay home for 24 hours after the symptoms have subsided without the help of fever reducing medications.
