Words of Wisdom
"Sweet mercy is nobility’s true badge."
~William Shakespeare
Most of us have known at least one person who knows (or thinks they know) pretty much everything. It becomes apparent that your opinion doesn’t count for much and that there’s always a better way; the better way being their way, of course!
It’s tempting to believe these people think themselves superior, but do they really? Whether it’s a family member, a colleague, or a friend, it can difficult to be kind to someone who is always correcting you. But can you imagine living under the weight of believing you must have all the answers?
So next time you are feeling impatient with a know-it-all, do the noble thing: extend some mercy. It may be the one thing they can’t find fault with.

Ready, Set, FAFSA!
Free financial aid events are available to Minnesota students and families via Zoom. All sessions will have interpretation in Spanish, Somali, and Hmong. Attendees can ask questions in the chat and have them answered during the event by financial aid experts.
