Cooler temperatures are upon us. With the cooler weather, falling leaves and smell of pumpkin spice... well, everywhere, there is no doubt that Fall is here.

Please mark your calendar with these upcoming dates.

• This month we are highlighting our campus principals for National Principal Appreciation Month. Make sure to check out their highlights on Social Media.
• October 21st is Unity Day. Sponsored by our Hope Squads, we invite everyone to join us on 10/21 by wearing orange to bring awareness to bullying and promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion!
• October 24th is National Make a Difference Day. The day is focused on service to others. Do what you can to make a positive difference and use #MakeADifferenceDay and #ProsperProud to post on social media.
• October 26th - October 30th is Red Ribbon Week. Make sure to check your campus communication for dress up days and activities to celebrate this national campaign for alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention.
• November 11th is Veteran's Day. In addition to several campus activities, make time to Thank a Veteran for their sacrifice and service to our country and our individual freedom.

When you are done with all of that, make sure to get a Pumpkin Spice Latte before they are gone! These days are flying by, but always thankful to be #ProsperProud!

Sunday, October 18 from 2-5pm - Sign Painting Party in the Arena Parking Lot. This is open to ANYONE who would like to paint a sign to support their kid, team or organization.

Wednesday, October 21 at 6pm - COMMUNITY pep rally at the RHHS practice stadium for ALL to attend. We will also be announcing our FOCO Court nominees at this event so make plans to attend.

Friday, October 23 at 7pm - Forthcoming Game VS. Denison at Children's Health Stadium

Wear and share orange on October 21 to prevent bullying and promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

Come out to Chick-fil-A at Windsong Ranch and support the PHS Track and Field team on October 21, 6 am-7:30 p.m. Mention or show the flier so the Track & Field team receives credit.

PISD Police Department and PHS & RHHS Student Councils presents Red Ribbon Week Parent Info Night. Officer Jermaine Galloway from tallcopssaysstop.com & Children's Health Substance Abuse will be presenting. 30 Minute Presentations followed by Q&A Session

Please join the Sweethearts of Prosper for their annual Talonettes Mini Clinic on October 31st from 9 AM until 12 PM!! We are offering both an in-person and a virtual option this year. PISD COVID-19 protocols will be followed! Registration and additional information is available at www.prospertalonettes.org. We can't wait to dress up and dance with your little dancer!

COVID-19 Daily Screening

Parents should review the COVID-19 Screening Questions on the District website each day before sending their child to any in-person Prosper ISD activity. If your child tests positive, has been exposed to a COVID positive individual, or has one or more of the symptoms on the screening questionnaire, use the link at the bottom of the questionnaire to notify the school nurse and do NOT send your child to school until receiving clearance to return from the school nurse.
