April is child abuse awareness month. To kick off the month we are going to wear BLUE on Monday April 3.
A Message from Chartwells
Coulston Elementary is participating in the Universal Breakfast Program for the current school year 2022-2023. Breakfast will be available to all students at no charge. Breakfast is served from 7:25-8 am in the cafeteria. Breakfast is operated under serve, which provides students with their entire meal components in a quick easy-to-grab bag. The school breakfast that we serve follows U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines for
healthy school meals. The program cannot succeed without your support; please
encourage your children to participate in school breakfast.
Did you know you can access both breakfast and lunch menus with nutritional and
allergen information via Nutrislice which is available online and through smartphones?

IREAD-Parents of 2nd and 3rd grade students should receive the test results in the mail next week. The IDOE will release individual schools and districts reports in April. We are so proud of how hard our students and teachers worked on this test. Go Comets!
Parent Fair-Just a reminder that the Shelbyville Central Schools Parent Fair will be held on Thursday, April 6th at Shelbyville Middle School. Please join us for this event.
No School-Just a reminder that school will not be in session on Friday, April 7th.
SCUFFY Egg Sale-We are selling Eggs For SCUFFY next week for $1.00. We appreciate your support for this organization. SCUFFY supports several local agencies such as Boy and Girls Club and Meals on Wheels.
PTO Meeting-Please join us on Monday, April 10th at 6:00 in the library for our PTO meeting. All are welcome and we look forward to seeing you there. Just a reminder that our Spring PTO fundraiser will continue for the next few weeks!
Cultural Fair-SCS Elementary Schools will have the annual Culture Fair on Thursday, April 20th at Loper Elementary. This event is hosted by all three elementary schools, and will showcase a variety of foods and crafts. This event is free and is a family event. We hope to see you there!
Elementary Track Meet-The Elementary Track Meet will be held this year on Monday, April 24th at 5:00PM. We are looking forward to this event.
Did You Know-Setting up daily routines, including healthy eating and sleeping habits will help increase student success at school!

Reunión de atletismo elemental-La reunión de atletismo de primaria se llevará a cabo este año el lunes 24 de abril a las 5:00 p. m. Estamos ansiosos por este evento.
