Combining Passion with Kindness
Want to be successful? Find something that you are passionate about and pursue it with all your efforts. Want to have a positive impact on someone else? Find something that you can do for someone else's benefit and do that with all sincerity and authenticity. Want to make the world a better place? Combine your passion with compassion to create lasting, positive change in the world. Here are some suggestions on how you can show compassion to others and be the change we all would love to see:

Ms. Coholic's BioGeoChem Class
Last week, students completed the Big Bang and formation of the Solar System and took an assessment. Due to illnesses, some students still have to make-up the assessment. Once all students have completed the assessment, the graded assessments will be handed back to students.
This week students will begin the next unit - Geology and dynamics of the Earth. We will begin with the 'rock cycle'.
Have a great week!

Review of Quarter One: A Dive into the World of Chemistry
Quarter one at our school has been an exciting journey of discovery in the field of chemistry. Students gained a deeper understanding of the fundamental building blocks of the universe like atoms, molecules, elements and compounds. Our students have been investigating various aspects of matter like physical and chemical properties. Along the way, they have also practiced and improved their essential math and measurement skills, ensuring that they are well-equipped to excel in the world of science and engineering.
As we look back on the achievements of quarter one, we are proud of our students' dedication and enthusiasm in the pursuit of scientific knowledge. Their curiosity and commitment to learning have set a strong foundation for the exciting journey that lies ahead in the world of chemistry.
Exploring the World of Chemistry: Honors Student Investigates Periodic Properties
Our Chemistry Honors student embarked on an exciting journey to investigate the periodic properties. The experiment involved a series of intriguing observations like formation of fuzzy gasses, changes in temperature, color change of litmus paper, and the formation of precipitates.
Students unveiled the secrets of chemical reactions related to metallic activities and solubility.
Stay tuned for more updates on this captivating scientific endeavor, as our talented student continues to explore mysteries of Chemistry.
