Our Spring Creek representative came to TCE to deliver our Spirit Night earnings. Thanks to our great turnout, we were able to earn $1,100 for TCE. Our top three classes that also received a prize bag for the highest attendance that night were Mrs. Brehm, Mrs. Vincenzo, and Ms. Becker. All of the learners in those classes received a t-shirt, cup, and keychain. Thank you all for supporting TCE!

We'd love for any veterans that are family or friends of our TCE family to join us Friday, November 11th at 8:15 a.m. Each grade level will participate, along with the TCE Choir and CHS Madrigals. A reception for guests will follow the ceremony. We look forward to celebrating our veterans. Guests will need to check in through the front office with a photo ID.

Each year the Lions Club of Coppell provides holiday baskets and toys to families in the Coppell ISD attendance area. Last year Lion's Club provided a special Christmas for over 127 families and hundreds of children who might otherwise have gone without. The food baskets and toys are delivered by members of the Lions Club of Coppell, and the identity of the recipients is kept confidential. All Lion's Club needs to know is the address and the family demographics, sizes, and any special needs the family may have. The Coppell Education Foundation Give for Grants campaign is designed to encourage, facilitate, recognize and reward effective, innovative, and creative, instructional approaches that directly impact CISD students while transforming classroom learning. There are 38 grant requests from 14 CISD campuses this school year. We are excited that Town Center has two grant submissions that are available to donate towards. For the past two years, generous donations helped CEF fund every grant. To donate to our TCE grants, visit www.give4grantscisd.org.

Here are some answers to questions you might have:

What is the process for visiting my child at lunch?

1. Sign-in at the office
Lunch visitors will be required to sign in at the front office and receive a visitor badge that must be worn at all times. We will need to see a photo ID (either your license or passport).

3. Eat lunch with your child
You will be able to eat lunch with your child in the cafeteria. There will be designated tables for lunch visitors. You may only eat with your child. No other learners may be invited to eat with you. You may purchase lunch in the cafeteria or bring a lunch with you.

4. Sign out in the office
Parents will be dismissed from the cafeteria. You will need to go back through the front office to sign out at the end of lunchtime. Parents will not be able to join their child(ren) back in the class or at recess.

Who can visit my child for lunch?

District guidelines limit lunchroom visitors at the elementary level to parents, immediate family members with written permission from a parent, and campus mentors. Immediate family members are defined as the student’s parents/step-parents, siblings, grandparents, or any person residing in the home. A parent can list the person(s) who have permission to have lunch for the entire school year.

If anyone other than the parent(s) listed as guardians in our district eschool system is eating with the child, we will need written documentation of your approval. I have attached a copy of the form below, and we will have copies in the office, as well.

Library volunteer times are now available through October. Library volunteers will assist with checking in and checking out books, reshelving books, and helping with special projects. Please find a link below to sign-up. All volunteers must have a completed background check from this school year.

TCE PTO is looking for your help in gathering photos for the Town Center Yearbook! We set up an easy process for you to share your images from different campus or classroom events. We would love for all families to contribute their images so we can make sure we have equal representation from all grade levels and classrooms! Please use the following step-by-step directions document or video to create a Lifetouch account and begin uploading your images now. Thank you!

For the last two years, free and reduced meals were provided for all Texas public school children. This year, families must complete an application to qualify for free or reduced-priced meals. For more information, check out the Coppell ISD Child Nutrition website. Complete your School Meal Application here. Allow up to ten days to process your application.
