Arrival dismissal protocol for drivers PLEASE!
Please help keep our arrival and dismissal lines moving quickly by following these simple protocols:
When Dropping a Student Off
1. Please do not show up early. When you show up early it causes major traffic jams in the neighborhood.
We will stagger drop off and pick up times to alleviate congestion
A-G 8:00 drop off, 12:15 pick up
H-O 8:05 drop off, 12:20 pick up start at 8:15.
P-Z 8:10 drop off, 12:25 pick up
1. Pull all the way up before dropping off your child/children
2. Make sure your child is ready to go!
- masks on
- backpack ready
- Name tag displayed PLEASE! if you don't have a name tag, let us know at he entrance and we will provide you with a new one.
3. If possible, don't get out of the car-vehicle. Your child should be able to get out and head to class (we realize this isn't always possible with our younger learners)
When Picking a Student Up
1. Do NOT show up early.
2. When picking up a student please tape the name placards to the windshield or clip to your visor.
- Name placards should be easy to read from 20 feet away
- student name, room number
3. Pull all the way up
4. Do not get out of the car - vehicle
During the arrival-dismissal times there are approximately 100 cars-vehicles waiting to drop off students, your support in making this run as smoothly as possible

Spring Creek Walkers/Bikers: Please enter at the front gate only. When you enter in other entrances, we will ask you to enter through the front gates because of safety reasons.

The information you provide will help Sonoma County create a safer and healthier community to support active and alternative travel to and from school and in the community. Daily Home Health Check:
- Does the child have a fever of 100* or higher? (stay home!)
- Has the child or anyone in the household been recently diagnosed or is still recovering from COVID? (stay home!)
- Has the child or anyone in the household recently demonstrated COVID symptoms? (stay home!)
- Has the child or anyone in the household recently been directly exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID? (stay home!)
- If you answered these 4 questions "no!", send your child/children to school!
Distant Learning Schedule:
Units of Study can be pick up on Monday after 1:00. If you have questions about your packet, please contact Ms. Lister at klister@rvusd.org.

IN PERSON LEARNING PLAN: MAY 3- JUNE 4, 2021 Please call the office if your student is absent 545-1771.
ELEMENTARY STUDENTS (TK-6th)
Five days a week, 4 hours a day, 8:15 to 12:15
Drive through the playground/blacktop for drop-off and pick up
We will stagger drop off and pick up times to alleviate congestion

H-O 8:05 drop off, 12:20 pick up start at 8:15.
P-Z 8:10 drop off, 12:25 pick up
Snack and recess included
Snack provided by district or sent in with student from home
All required instructional minutes are met in these 4 hours; additional independent learning activities including enrichment are optional in the afternoon
No Zoom required at home (unless class needs to be quarantined or student meeting with a specialist)
Chrome books will be brought to and from school daily except for kindergarteners. (1st-3rd grade students will bring chrome books to school each day)
All health/safety protocols will continue (Temperature checks will be taken at home) Teachers will take temperature before entering the classroom.
DISTANCE LEARNING FAMILIES
Students needing to remain in distance learning for the remainder of the school year will….
Receive an independent unit of study for the remainder of the school year. This unit of study will consist of academic work created by RVUSD credentialed teachers that is intended to be completed independently as much as possible, although there may be some lessons that need to be supported by parents. Please pick up your unit of Study from the office.
Have a live interaction with the current classroom teacher for 30-60 minutes three days a week. This will be scheduled by the classroom teacher and communicated to the students. Ms. Lister and Dr. Haupt will continue their music and science zooms in the afternoons.
Continue to have access to enrichment activities on Wednesdays that are updated each week through May 19th.
ATTENDANCE
Please report any student absences to the school offices. Due to the increased health and safety rules all absences for students attending in-person learning are very detailed, you cannot call in an absence to your child's teacher. When you leave a message on the attendance line, 707-538-2122 extension 1, you will hear this message. Please completely answer all the questions. This is a requirement per our School Safety Plan.
“It is crucial that you include all the symptoms your child is having in order for us to determine the proper follow-up in keeping our community safe. Be sure to include if your child has any of the following:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
If your child is showing any of these following signs, please seek medical care immediately:
- Trouble breathing
- Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
- New confusion
- Inability to wake or stay awake
- Pale, gray, or blue-colored skin, lips, or nail beds, depending on skin tone.
Please let us know if your child has had contact with anyone in the last few days who has been diagnosed with COVID 19.”

Emotional Well Being/Counseling Support
How is your family? Need emotional support? Our counselors are here for you.Our WarmLine is open. The number to call is (628) 777-3577. Parents or students can call and request to have a school counselor call them back. Messages can be left in English or Spanish.

Our library is closed for the remainder of the year. Ms. Pacsar and others are busy sorting and reorganizing our new library for next year. You can reserve books from the public library. We appreciate Ms. Pacsar and Miss Libby for their dedication to the library.
