Note from the Principal

Good morning!


This week begins the Lenten Season. Ash Wednesday Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday February 17th. The link is here: https://youtu.be/aRRDueVGn7A and will also be streamed live on the St. Mary of the Assumption Parish Facebook page. There will be no Mass on Friday this week.


We are working very hard to find opportunities for our teachers to receive the COVID vaccination, if they wish to receive it. As these appointments are still very difficult to get and are often scheduled last minute, you may notice teachers being out with very little notice over the next few weeks. We will do our best to make sure that there is a substitute or another teacher available to answer questions. Please note, that we will not be sharing the reasons for any specific teacher's absence to maintain their privacy. Thank you for your understanding.


There is inclement weather forecasted for later this week. If campus is closed on Thursday or Friday, we will be moving that day's book pick up time. If Thursday is closed, book pick up will be available on Monday February 22nd from 5-6 p.m. If Friday is closed, book pick up will be available anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday February 23rd. An email with details will be sent out if this occurs.

Book Pick-Up/Drop-Off

Our next Book and Supply Pick-Up/Drop-Off will be this week on February 18th (5-6 PM) and 19th (11AM-12 PM). If campus is closed for inclement weather, it will be rescheduled.

Virtual Coffee Chats

Based on feedback from parents and recent attendance, Friday morning coffee chats will be reduced to once per month and will include all grades. Please join Mrs. Lewis on Friday March 12th at 8:30am to provide feedback, ask questions, and just say hello! A reminder email will be sent that morning.
