Percussion Ensemble Rehearsals:

1/15/2023

Everyone needs to be aware of the midwinter concert the second week of February with your respective bands. Expect music for this over the course of this week. We’ll start rehearsing this music in class the following week.

Wednesday: 7:15-9:30am Remnants

Thursday: 3:35-4:30pm Pavane

For those of you in Liminality/Remnants and 4th period, you will be dismissed at 8. Limited after school rehearsals due to musical commitments. You’re welcome to get together in small ensembles or stick around and practice.

• Sunday, February 4th is our Mattress Fundraiser. We will need a lot of help this day to make it a success. This is a super easy volunteer job, the signup has all the details. Please go signup so the Fundraising Team can stop worrying!

• We are hard at work getting ready for the Band Golf Tournament fundraiser that will be taking place at the end of May. There are a lot of details that go into hosting a tournament and we could really use some more help. In particular, we could use more help with the sponsor/donor/silent auction parts of the tournament. The golf tournament has the potential to raise a lot of money for the band, so please come help us make it a huge success! Please read the attached letter that summarizes the fundraiser. We will earn thousands of dollars in one day if everyone spreads the word about our big event.

  Fundraising Credit:

  Students will receive credit towards their $450 fundraising goal with every family/friend that makes a purchase.

  1 mattress or 1 adjustable base - $25 fundraising credit

  2 mattresses/adjustable bases - $50 fundraising credit

  3 mattresses/adjustable bases - $100 fundraising credit

  4 mattresses/adjustable bases - $175 fundraising credit

  5 mattresses/adjustable bases - $250 fundraising credit

  **fundraising credit will also be given for other items at varying percentages

Our Mulch Mayhem fundraiser will kick off on February 5 – March 1 with delivery to school March 23. Right now we are looking for people that have or have access to these type of vehicles:

· Any type of pick up truck

· Any length of trailer

· Pull behind trailer

We would need you to be available all day on March 23 for potential delivery of bagged mulch to surrounding areas, and you will have a crew to help load and unload. Please fill out the Google form below if you are able to assist.
