New Opportunity-8th Grade Italian Language and Culture During Project Block
Do you have an eighth grade student at Miscoe who might be curious about Renaissance art or Roman history? How about fashion, music or soccer? Ever wonder about the origins of pizza or how gelato is different from ice cream? Whatever your interests, there are so many ways to connect with Italian language and culture. In collaboration with the World Language Department at Nipmuc, Miscoe will be offering 8th graders an exciting opportunity to take a 4-week mini session in Italian with Signora Blackburn! This session is an informal, fun and interactive way to explore Italian language and culture during project block (no grades or homework). In addition to offering a fun opportunity to explore the culture, this session will also help our soon-to-be 9th graders decide on the language they’d like to pursue at the high school level. We hope you’ll join us this semester - ciao!
Check out all the fun we have with Italian at Nipmuc by visiting our MURSD Italian webpage and checking out a recent musical collaboration made by Nipmuc Italian students!
