PLAYDATE is a learner-driven, hands-on professional learning experience.
Being a new teacher is very overwhelming! Think about the last time you attended a professional learning event. You probably left full of new knowledge and a list overflowing with ideas, programs, and skills to try out. However, once we return to the "real world" you lack the time and support to actually try out these new ideas and tools.
At this PLAYDATE new teachers from around the area will join together for a few hours and just play. They work together to learn about ed-tech tools, programs, and skills with one another. There are no presenters, no experts, and no agenda. Simply time to play, tinker and explore all at no cost!
