ROADRUNNER UPDATES
Inspire. Thrive. Empower.
Principal's Message
Congratulations on completing the second formal week of Distance Learning. I hope everyone is well and making their way through these unprecedented times. Please understand moving forward that we will be challenged by the true meaning of flexibility and patience. I have no doubt in my mind that the Larsen students, families, and staff will continue to persevere and thrive during this time.
For parents, please know that YOU are doing all you can for your kids and that this is a truly unique time for everyone. We understand that is trying for you to fulfill your work duties from home, juggle finances, monitor your new “home-school students”, provide childcare and do all you can to keep your family safe during this pandemic. I encourage you to show “Grace & Flexibility” on yourself at home during this time in addition to your children, their teachers and the community. I encourage you to take this time with your children to really explore new areas of their interests or partake in family activities that you may not have had the luxury of time to do before. A silver lining can always be found if we look hard enough!
Also, rest assured that teachers across our district are ready to “meet students where they are” in their learning when they return for the 2020-2021 school year. I know that for Larsen, our mission will be to look for any learning gaps that occurred during school closures and formulate lessons and resources to address them and make our Roadrunners even better than they already are! Have a great week and go Roadrunners!
Best Regards,
Mrs. Guillen

Saludos Roadrunners!
Atentamente,
Sra. Guillén

Larsen teachers care!
Teacher Appreciation Week is here!: May 4-May 8
Teachers inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. They’re experts at boosting confidence through the right mix of motivation and instruction. They wear multiple hats as quarrel mediators, supportive listeners, and all-around problem fixers. And now they’re doing it all remotely, as schools across the country have closed because of the Corina-virus pandemic.
National Teacher Appreciation Week is a chance to thank educators for all they do to ensure that students succeed in school and in life.
And now... a beautiful poem of love and hope...
