As we move into the second semester, we will be practicing some safety drills to reinforce procedures with students. We will be practicing a "Fire Drill" and a "Lock Down" drill within the next two weeks. We will send communication the day of the drill to inform stakeholders.
Earlier this week, the campus needed to conduct a "Hold." When a Hold drill is called, the expectation is that all students are in their classroom or instructional space, and not in the halls. Once in the classroom, teachers and students are expected to continue with instruction as usual. A Hold drill is used for non-threat, non-campus emergency situations that require students to be held in their classroom for a short time.
